According to the UN, more than 700 natural and man-made disasters occur in different parts of the globe every year. When disaster strikes, whether it’s a flood, a hurricane, or an earthquake, a rapid, highly coordinated response is critical to saving lives. Fortunately, advances in communications technology over the last 20 years have dramatically improved the ability of relief agencies to get help quickly to those who need it most.

In the video below, Ken Workun, NetFore CEO, and Callan Schebella, Chief Architect at Inference Solutions, demonstrate an innovative new solution designed to improve communication between relief agencies and front-line staff, and between staff and those affected by the disaster.

The solution combines a new and evolving technology called Web Real-time Communication, or WebRTC, with GIS-enabled CRM (NetFore), unified communications (BroadSoft) and interactive voice recognition (Inference Solutions). Watch the video to learn more!
